- The purpose of the Full-Service Technician is to repair and maintain vending and fountain equipment, both in-house and on the street. Will also include fountain equipment installs at various customer locations.- REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.-
Remove old parts and replace with new parts to keep track inventory current.
-Plan day’s calls.
-Order any special parts not kept in the truck inventory.
-Drive to the location, evaluate the situation, and perform necessary work (may include plumbing, electricity, refrigeration, and carpentry).
-After each call, complete paperwork on handheld device, print reports, and end of every day.
-Perform in-house repairs.
-Fill out paperwork, including serial numbers and parts used.
-Turn in paperwork at the end of every day.
-Flexible to work nights and weekends.
-Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D and two years vending mechanic experience; OR (2) five years vending mechanic experience.
-Basic electricity knowledge.
-Basic plumbing knowledge.
-Apprentice through Master Grade mechanic; work depends on skills.
-Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.
-CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement.
-Related training or certification.
-Experience working in a team environment.
-Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
-Must have own tools.
-MS Office including Word and Excel.
