**Responsibilities**:

- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with school leadership and instructional teams to develop and implement a standards-aligned curriculum that supports student learning and achievement, with emphasis on early language development and literacy
- Instructional Leadership: Stay abreast in C&I best practices, progress monitor coaching provided to teachers and educational assistants by academic deans; modify and make adjustments to curriculum design and implementation to ensure desired student outcomes by grade level; collaborate with academic deans to develop and implement professional development for teachers and educational assistants to ensure implementation of curriculum; to enhance instructional practices through differentiating instruction; and to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Assessment and Data Analysis: Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of student assessment data to inform instructional decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and monitor student progress over time, specifically regarding early literacy and reading readiness screeners, progress monitoring, and diagnostics
- Professional Development: Plan and facilitate professional development scope and sequence with training sessions for teachers and staff to strengthen their instructional skills, content knowledge, and pedagogical approaches. With particular focus on Act 20 compliance for the 2024 - 2026 school years.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or related field
- A minimum of five years of teaching experience as a licensed teacher
- Five years of experience in K—3rd grade early literacy
- At least three years of experience as an instructional coach, preferably with experience coaching at least five teachers.
- Valid teaching certification/license (or eligibility to obtain certification in Wisconsin).

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Strong understanding of state and federal regulations related to early literacy and reading readiness initiatives
- Knowledge of best practices in pedagogy, assessment, and differentiated instruction.
- Experience with data analysis and using assessment data to drive instructional decision-making.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education.
