The primary responsibilities of the State and Local Tax Associate will include:

- Researching and analyzing state and local tax laws
- Preparing and filing state and local tax returns
- Consulting with clients on state and local tax issues
- Working with attorneys and the SEC on tax-related matters
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- At least 2-4 years of experience in state and local tax law
- Admitted to practice in state where applying
- Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
