Shipping and Receiving Associate

**Shipping/Receiving/Inspection**:

- Receive all incoming shipments, verify the contents, and ensure that they match packing list/purchase order etc..
- Inspect incoming goods for damages/defects and report to appropriate party.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records of incoming shipments, including packing list, bills of lading and invoices.
- Track inventory in the shipping area, making sure that shipping supplies are stocked.
- Organize incoming goods in the warehouse and disperse goods to the appropriate department.
- Pack outgoing orders according to item specifications and prepare for shipment.
- Responsible for ensuring that goods are shipped out by appropriate carrier, include shipping documents and ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain clean and organized shipping area to ensure safety and efficiency.

**General Shop/Operations Support**:

- General Housekeeping:

- Empty garbage/wastebaskets from office area and other designated shop areas
- Mop floor and clean kitchen/washroom and other designated areas etc
- Instrument prep:

- Inspect for cleanliness, inspect/test for proper working condition, gold plate/micropolish if needed, etch/mark data (laser) as required
- Instrument packaging/assembly as required
- Production/Assembly:

- Assist in assembly of instruments
- Assist in material set-up, cutting etc
- Purchasing: Place & follow up on purchase orders with vendors
- Agiliti Report Management and general Agiliti support
- Complete and Manage Production Request Forms and other required documentation
- Partner with Management Team on various projects

**Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed.
- Prepare and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Perform routine inspections and quality tests.
- Create training materials and operating manuals.
- Make recommendations for improvement.
- Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports.
- Address/discuss issues and propose solutions with superiors.
- Identify and resolve workflow/ production issues.
- Perform routine inspections and production issues.

**Administrative**:

- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office/manufacturing
- General Office Administration Duties including but not limited to filing, copying, binding, scanning, general data entry, data base management, etc
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques as needed
- Help maintain filing systems etc
- Update and maintain facility policies and procedures
- Be willing to work both in the production area and office area
- Be able to work with a diverse team and be able to work independently
- Be able to prioritize and multi-task
- Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers & co-workers at all times

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
