**Sentara Independence Emergency Department is currently hiring an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to join their team**:
**Shift**:
Full-Time (12hr shifts) - Nights

**Job Requirements**:

- High School Grad or Equivalent
- ** Required**: Clinical - De-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire. BLS certification within 90 days of hire for all incumbents.

**Description**:
As an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) with Sentara, you can work in either inpatient or outpatient Emergency Department settings. This role is a great gateway to begin your career in the medical field. This position's primary responsibilities include lab draws, EKGs, and assisting the nurses and doctors with patient care. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients.
