Pet Care Specialist(Daycare Attendant)

The Pet Care Specialist (PCS) role encompasses both the Front Desk Team and the playroom attendants. Team members will receive training for both roles, fostering flexibility across shifts throughout the company.

Apart from desk duties, PCSs are trained to manage groups of 25-40+ dogs, ensure a clean and controlled playroom environment, perform deep and general cleaning tasks, and assist with other operational duties as directed by their Manager.

**Responsibilities of Pet Care Specialists include**:

- Supervising groups of 25+ dogs independently.
- Swiftly addressing dog altercations and incidents.
- Capturing photos for report cards.
- Assisting with feeding, walking, and transferring dogs.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the playroom.
- Performing general and deep cleaning of their work areas.
- Delivering exceptional customer service.
- Undertaking other operational tasks as assigned by the manager.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with dogs in group and 1-on-1 settings to ensure top-notch care.
- Monitoring dog behaviors for appropriate interactions during group play, ensuring a safe and hygienic play environment with readily available fresh water.
- Documenting all dogs under care with photos and promptly reporting any concerning behaviors to management for an exceptional client experience.
- Assisting with meal preparation, medication administration, and treat distribution to dogs.
- Additional tasks may include dog walking, bathing, providing individual playtime and attention, and various cleaning duties to maintain workplace hygiene.
- Preferred: Prior experience in dog daycare or kennel settings.
- Availability for morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Proficiency in interpersonal communication.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Possession of a working cell phone.
- Capability to handle groups of 25+ dogs independently and comfortably.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
