The primary duties of the overnight attendant are to maintain a safe environment for all dogs in their care and to perform janitorial services. The primary deep cleaning occurs during the overnight shift, which is a fully awake, third shift. All duties of the daytime PCS are included in the responsibilities of the overnight PCS, with an added emphasis on cleaning.

This position is an overnight position, generally around 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. daily and 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. on weekends. The specialist is required to supervise a group of dogs, clean the facility, feed dogs, administer medication, conduct a safe playroom, and prepare the facility in an orderly way for the opening shift. They may be required to stay late if an opening shift is running late. Holidays and weekends are required. This is a fully awake 3rd shift position. Previous dog care experience is required.

Overnight Pet Care Specialist responsibilities include:

- Feeding breakfasts, dinners, and other meals as needed.
- Administering medication as needed (if authorized).
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for overnight dogs.
- Cleaning all areas in preparation for the morning shift (playrooms, private suites, common rooms).
- Generally cleaning the entire facility on a nightly basis.
- Deep cleaning the whole facility as needed (refer to specific schedule provided by their Manager).
- Staying late as necessary if a morning shift is running late.
- Taking report card photos of dogs sleeping for the Pet Parents (clients love seeing their pup relaxed and asleep).
- Completing and putting away all laundry.
- Completing other general day-to-day operational tasks as necessary at the facility.

**Requirements**:

- Works with dogs in a group of 25+ alone and 1-on-1 setting to always ensure high-quality care.
- Monitors dog behaviors to ensure appropriate interactions during group play, while always maintaining a safe and clean play environment with fresh water available.
- Takes pictures of all dogs in our under care and reports inappropriate behaviors to management immediately to help provide a flawless client experience.
- Helps prepare and serve meals, medications, and treats to dogs.
- Additional duties may include walking dogs, bathing dogs, providing individual playtime and attention, and major and minor cleaning duties associated with maintaining a hygienic workplace.
- Prior dog daycare or kennel experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
- Must be able to work holidays.
- Proficient in interpersonal communication.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Must have a working cell phone.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
