PCB Cad Specialist

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing and maintaining schematics in Altium Designer.
- Creating new component footprints and schematic symbols.
- Managing component library to ensure that parts footprints and pin-outs are correct, eliminating duplicates, and preventing PCB design errors.
- Running design rule and schematic to layout checked to prevent errors.
- Creating and providing accurate design release packages for PCB assemblies.
- Implementing ECOs for schematics, PCB designs and board assemblies.
- Converting legacy schematics and PCB Designs to current standards.
- Review and revise drawings based on internal and external feedback and markups.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering Design, Fabrication and the Documentation teams.

**Required Technical Background and General Skills**:

- Experience with and knowledge of PCB Design and Assembly.
- Experience with Altium Designer including schematics.
- Experience with Adobe and Microsoft Office Tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
- Attention to detail and to manage multiple projects concurrently

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Associates Degree or Technicians Diploma strongly preferred.
- Experience with assisting Electrical Engineers with PCB design.
- Experience working with multi-layer (4+) PCB designs.
- Experience and knowledge of IPC Standards and Practices.
