Qualifications:

- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to develop positive working relationships with clients, project management, and technical staff.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Urgency and Prioritization: Ability to read and implement SOPs with a sense of urgency and prioritization.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; willingness to learn LIMS and other sample tracking systems.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift/move 30 pounds, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for up to 8 hours during a shift.
- Punctuality and Flexibility: Excellent punctuality and attendance; ability to work overtime and flexible hours, including some evenings.
- Organization and Independence: Well-organized with the ability to work under mínimal supervision.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work at a fast pace, process samples quickly, and complete documentation accurately.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

- Sample Transport and Delivery: Pick up, transport, and deliver samples and documents.
- Vehicle Preparation: Ensure the vehicle is ready for daily operations.
- Customer and Staff Interaction: Demonstrate courteous and cooperative behavior.
- Sample Documentation and Processing: Review chain of custody, ensure proper sample conditions, and create work orders in LIMS.
- Time-Sensitive Samples: Notify lab personnel of urgent samples.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter sample data using LIMS and other software.
- Quality Control: Follow strict QA/QC protocols.
- Policy Compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Documentation Review: Verify sample documentation matches project requirements, label samples, and dispose of old samples properly.
- Procedure Adherence: Follow written procedures accurately and within time constraints.
- Chemical Handling: Safely handle preservation chemicals.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Perform tasks as per SOPs.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with lab personnel.
- Additional Duties: Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
