Dispatcher/warehouse Associate

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate data entry in the system
- Coordinate transportation logistics, including dispatching and tracking freight
- Utilize SyteLine or similar software to monitor and update warehouse activities
- Work with GPS systems for efficient routing and delivery tracking
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Scheduling and dispatching drivers to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules
- Relaying delivery information between clients and staff.
- Update client delivery instructions and delivery statuses.
- Prepare daily work schedules.
- Speak with clients and staff to resolve problems.
- Proficient with mapping software, route optimization and safe driving standards.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ensures warehouse supplies are ordered/stocked
- Periodic optimization of warehouse working areas (cleaning up/recycling, moving/shifting product, reorganizing for optimization)
- Proactively address problems and suggest solutions with management.
- Works with Fleet Director to ensure that daily deliveries are completed and maintains the safety of the vehicles and drivers.
- Meet the needs and reasonable requests from the Delivery Operations or Leadership overseeing the Delivery Department

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping
- Knowledge of transportation management systems such as AS400
- Experience with dispatching and coordinating freight movements
- Familiarity with GPS systems for route optimization
- Strong communication skills to interact with drivers, vendors, and internal teams

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
