**Duties**:

- Builds and manages the agency’s appellate training, quality assurance, and knowledge management programs. Creates and manages project plans for each distinct area and evaluates those plans to improve their effectiveness.
- Assesses alignment of appellate training programs with current agency goals, policies, and laws, recommending updates and changes to those programs to maintain alignment with the agency’s policies and priorities.
- Creates and manages project plans for appellate trainings, document revisions, and quality assurance based on the agency’s appellate training needs.
- Provides expertise in managing virtual and in-person trainings to facilitate employee engagement and transference of skills. Liaises with other training professionals in USCIS and DHS.

**Selective Placement Factor**: You must have experience with Immigration law appeals and motions. This experience must be documented in your resume. Failure to do so may result in an ineligible rating.
- **GS-14**: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:

- Oversee design and management of training and knowledge management programs.
- Oversee analysis of training programs to develop recommendations and advise leadership on the impact of
systemic training.
- Manage program changes, issues, and problems, and execute training objectives.
- Independently plan work to be completed, identify scope of projects, and set deadlines.
- Independently design and carry out programs in the broad area of adult learning training and support.**Please ensure EACH work history includes ALL of the following information**:
