Position Summary:
We are seeking individuals with a high level of enthusiasm for specialty pet products and pet health. Working in a Pet Planet health store is a multi-faceted position that includes providing excellent customer service, maintaining store appearance/merchandising standards and upholding the highest ethics around pet health and welfare. You are a professional that takes pride in your positive attitude and exceeding the expectations of your customers. You also routinely look for personal development and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive results through providing and coaching team to deliver excellent customer service and a great in-store experience.
- Welcome customers, build loyal relationships, ask questions, listen to their needs, and provide accurate and objective information to help them make the best decision for their pets.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Support the Store Manager in executing promotional events and other key retail activities.
- Proficient in cash handling and POS functions.
- Maintain merchandising standards and keep the store environment clean and inviting.
- Build productive trust relationships with both customers and co-workers.
Required Skills: Professional demeanor and attitude. The highest degree of ethics and integrity. Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate important messages.
Pay: $16.75 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
