**Your Main Focus Will Be**:
- Ensure productivity, accuracy, and timely completion of the loading/unloading operation.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
- Assign work of incoming freight (trains/trailers) to forklift drivers.
- Coordinate between delivery and recycling personnel.
- Assist in the training and development of new employees.
- Accurately send/receive transfers to and from other warehouses.
- Assist in managing overtime & all other operational costs relative to day operations.
- Assist other departments (Recycling, Delivery) with the check-in and check-out.
**Position Requirements**:
- Associates degree a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in receiving and distribution.
- Experience working with a unionized workforce.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word. Advanced skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems. Eostar and Vocallect a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Solid time management skills, ability to prioritize, and work under deadlines.
- Baseline knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations.
- Understands the concept of FIFO and has slotting experience.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
