Overnight Vehicle Patrol Officer

Archon Protection is looking to immediately hire a Vehicle Patrol Security Officer for a full-time position in the Ventura area with computer and typing skills.

A guard card is required, but if you do not currently have one, we will help you obtain it. Livescan fingerprints are provided in-house.

**Weekend availability is required.**

**Typing test will be administered during the interview. Minimum of 40 WPM is required.**

**Good driving record and active driver's license is required.**

**Working hours are 7:30PM to 4:30AM - 5 days a week.**

**Schedule: Tuesdays - Saturdays Nights**

Quarterly attendance bonus', up to 2500$ / Year.

On-site training will be provided by a Security Supervisor.

**Responsibilities**:

- Patrol randomly or regularly the building and perimeter areas with notations
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents
- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Driver's License - Good driving record required
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM
- Integrity and professionalism
- High school degree

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
