**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
Your role will involve providing assistance for the different traffic management systems used to ensure safe traffic and driving conditions in Pennsylvania. You will need to conduct research and analysis on current and past traffic congestion, as well as traffic forecasts, in order to make recommendations for improvement. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating and conducting training sessions for traffic system operators. Furthermore, you will be responsible for auditing the various traffic management systems to ensure compliance with quality control standards.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- ** Telework**:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- ** Salary**:_ _**In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- One year as a Traffic Control Specialist Trainee; **or**:

- Two years as a Traffic Control Technician; **or**:

- One year of experience in traffic control work; and a Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, civil engineering, or a closely related field; **or**:

- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

**Other Requirements**:

- This position requires possession of a current driver's license that is not under suspension.
