Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance and repairs of all building systems and Machinery. This is to include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting. Hires and trains maintenance department staff along with organizing and overseeing the schedules and work of maintenance staff. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
- Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
- Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.
- Develops maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.
- Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
- Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
- Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
- Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
- Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
- Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
- Prepares reports documenting work performed.
- Responsible for maintaining the maintenance shop area, including stock, tools and supplies.
- Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment. Production environment work and physical position.
- Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
- Must be able to visually inspect machines.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Work requires sitting, standing, and/or walking for long periods, moving, and examining objects at high and low reach.
- Must be able to traverse the production facility.

**Schedule**:
**Monday to Friday: 7AM - 3:30 PM**

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least five years of maintenance experience required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor.

**Salary Range**:
The Pay Range for his position is between $60,000 and $75,000. The actual salary will depend on varying circumstances and individualized factors, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role.
