Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for organization? Join our team as a Materials Coordinator. The Materials Coordinator will be responsible for managing inventory of containerized shipments of industrial and hazardous waste and supporting the overall operations effort. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working outside loading/unloading trucks, working inside on a computer, while having strong written and verbal communications skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive, verify, unload, and stage all containerized materials delivered to the facility.
- Review all paperwork to ensure materials received are accurately documented.
- Communicate with Operations Management about any discrepancies.
- Properly segregate material according to final disposal facility and hazard classification.
- Enter all shipping documents (Manifests, Bill of Ladings, etc.) into the electronic system.
- Proactively communicate with Operations Management to plan incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Actively communicate with disposal/destination facilities to verify/schedule shipments.
- Load all outbound shipments according to transportation regulations and any other applicable standards.
- Ensure work area is clean and orderly.
- Complete various inspections and documents for facility compliance.
- Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels.

**Education and Experience**:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 0-5 years of overall work experience
- Previous work in warehouse and logistics operations or waste industry is advantageous.

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- Ability to pass and maintain certifications that include:

- 40 Hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER)
- Houston Area Safety Council Basic Plus
- Forklift
- CPR/First Aid
- Valid driver’s license
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Acceptable background check
- Ability to understand and communicate in the English language
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly for the duration of the shift
- Pass required drug screens and physicals
- Pass a Pulmonary Fit Test and wear proper respirator with no limitations

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
