**Job Title**: Inventory and Fulfillment Associate
**Reports To**: Co -CEOs
**Direct Reports**: None

**Summary**:
The Inventory and Fulfillment Associate is an important Rittenhouse Needlepoint ambassador. This role ensures that products and services reach clients who are outside the store. The Inventory and Fulfillment Associate achieves goals through adherence to shipping standards, KPI focus, attention to detail as well as relationship management with both customers and outside vendors. This is an active role that requires high energy with a drive for superior accuracy and exceptional customer experience. This role is approximately 50% fulfillment, 40% inventory management, and 10% customer service and vendor management. This breakdown will change depending on seasonal flow and business needs.

You should be an enthusiastic fulfillment and inventory specialist who also has a passion for art and craft. We will teach you the basics of needlepoint and other needlework practices, as well as how to pull thread for needlepoint, cross stitch and embroidery projects.

**Essential Functions**:
Fulfillment
- Support achievement of the company’s sales objectives through consistent achievement of shipping goals and supporting the sales and ecomm teams. Ensure all packages are neatly and effectively packed, protecting orders and maximizing cost savings.
- Manage carrier pick ups, take packages for drop off at local UPS stores and/or post offices if the need arises.
- Follow up on shipping issues and coordinate with other teams to resolve issues.
- Focus on KPI metrics including shipment and inventory accuracy, take part in tracking and achieving goals.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Size and/or build boxes when necessary for unusual sized orders.
- Support sales and finishing in-take in pulling and suggesting threads for canvases and cording as needed.

Inventory
- Process, receive, stock, and backstock inbound inventory, ensuring proper storage and organization.
- Partner with the sales team to ensure that product and selling supplies are replenished and re-stocked daily and as needed. Communicate stock or selling supply needs with leadership.
- Ensure that product receiving, outgoing shipments, and RTVs are accounted for with accuracy.
- Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Process special orders: create purchase orders and submit to vendors, maintain order log and follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
- Lead team in bi-annual full physical inventory counts and system stock updates.

Operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment with logical layout to optimize space and productivity. Support team by participating in routine light cleaning.
- Maintain appropriate shipping supply levels so that necessary materials are always available.
- Ensure all administrative responsibilities are completed promptly and accurately including updating communication systems.
- Create/update SOPs to reflect process changes and keep teams updated on new procedures.
- Support store safety and abide by local, state, and federal regulations.
- Identify and present operational issues and concerns to leadership.
- Perform other duties as directed by leadership.

Customer Service
- Bring RNP mission and core values to life in the client experience.
- Exhibit active selling when assisting clients in benefit to the client and RNP.
- Model exemplary selling techniques and customer service including the ability to pull threads for canvases. Work as a team in selling.
- Communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and other departments. Ask questions and confirm details of special orders to ensure accuracy.
- Demonstrate strong follow up by keeping customers updated on special orders.
- Bring ideas to the conversation about marketing to build customer awareness and increase traffic and sales.

HR
- Partner with the team leaders in training others on all aspects of their job responsibilities including order fulfillment, packing, shipping, company history, product knowledge, and store operations.
