**Job Overview**:

- Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards. Recommend adjustments to the assembly
- or production process. Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced. Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
- Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Utilize contract manufacturer approved Finished Product Specifications and samples to create product specific test specifications/forms for use on all in-coming lots of product.
- Perform evaluation of product to facilitate release, or rejection. (i.e. physical inspection, count, weight, CoA review).
- Prepare samples and required Laboratory submission forms to facilitate outside analysis of products an indicated in SOP.
- Track samples, testing and results. Follow up on past due results.
- Notify contract manufacturers of discrepancies that are impeding release of the product.
- Work with contract manufacturers and labs to resolve OOS results and disposition.
- Manage retain sample program.
- Prepare and track SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Reports) for deficiencies found in contract manufacturer supplied product.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma
- Minimum Three (3) years related experience in Quality Assurance department in a food, dietary supplement, or OTC facility.
- Knowledge of FDA cGMP regulations for Dietary Supplements a plus
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task, with attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend, within a warehouse environment for short periods of time.
- Able to work with known allergens: Milk, soy, fish, shellfish, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts

**How to Apply**:
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
