Procurement and Logistics Specialist

Securityhunter, Inc. is a leading provider of electronic and physical security products and services to Government clients. We are located in Baltimore, Maryland and we are interested in hiring a full time procurement and logistics specialist

**Responsibilities**:

- Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization
- Collect purchase requests from internal stakeholders and issue purchase orders to distributors, vendors, and manufacturers
- Coordinate shipping and delivery times with vendors, subcontractors and warehouse personnel
- Track shipping information on orders and returns
- Coordinate and track equipment inventory levels
- Collect estimates and quotes from distributors, vendors, and manufacturers as requested by the Procurement Manager
- Process equipment returns and complete inventory adjustments in Flowtrac or similar ERP system
- Track inventory and restock goods as needed in Flowtrac or similar ERP system
- Liaise with suppliers and project managers regarding updates and details of goods
- Analyze invoices as needed from accounting to ensure accuracy of goods delivered
- Create Purchase Orders in Unanet or similar ERP system
- Track Purchase Orders and assist with managing shared Purchase Order folders
- Contact vendors to expedite ordering and shipping when needed
- Work with accounting to resolve any vendor invoice issues
- Process and scan packing slips from incoming equipment
- Account for receipt of all line items on individual Purchase Orders as equipment is received
- Assist warehouse team with logistics and material inventory/counting
- Communicate with new vendors to create their profiles inside of the accounting system
- Inventory and order office, warehouse, and cleaning supplies when needed
- Assist with warehouse inventories when needed
- Assist with preparing shipments when needed
- Assist with warranty tracking efforts when needed

**Required Work Experience and Skills**:

- Shipping/Receiving/Logistics/Procurement experience desired
- Written and verbal communications skills required
- Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) knowledge required
- Organizational skills
- Must be able to pass a Federal Government background check (criminal and civil check).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb; stoop; kneel; crouch; reach; lift, use hands to finger, use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; light lifting up to 40 pounds may be required. This position is typically performed in a traditional office environment.

Starting Pay Scale: $50,000 to $60,000 per year depending on experience level

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
