**Essential Functions**:

- Supervise and schedule nursery employees
- Maintain and oversee all maintenance of nursery
- Supervise all nursery improvements
- Ensure proper scheduling and implementation of all fertilizer and spray programs
- Supervise outbound loading on all nursery products to ensure proper delivery
- Supervise nursery employees for proper receiving of inventory

**Additional Job-Related Duties**:

- Comply with federal and state law, regulations, and all company rules
- Participate in online and in-person training and other educational opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Any other job-related activities requested by immediate supervisor

**Education & Experience Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in business or management or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a supervisory role
- Prior work experience in logistics and horticulture is preferred

**Physical Requirements**:

- This position may include long hours spent standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing, reaching, and stretching
- Nearly 100% of job duties performed outdoors in a plant nursery setting
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to (50) pounds
- The position may also require climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling
- Repetitive motions of the hands, wrists and elbow may be required in this position to operate small, motorized equipment

**Bonus Skills Preferred**:

- Southeast US plant identification highly preferred.
- Commercial plant nursery and/or landscaping industry experience highly preferred.
- Ability to be innovative and be resourceful to accomplish goals.
- **Language**: Applicants bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply.
