**Behavior Health Assistant Job Description**

6:30am-6:30pm or 6:30pm-6:30am

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide direct support and care to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and comfort. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, implementing behavior management strategies, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our clients.

**Duties**:

- Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Support individuals in crisis management situations with empathy and professionalism
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans tailored to each individual's needs
- Assist in medication administration following CBRF guidelines
- Engage individuals in group therapy sessions and recreational activities
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and interactions

**Skills**:

- Familiarity with CBRF regulations and guidelines
- Experience in case management or special education is a plus
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and art therapy practices
- Ability to handle crisis management situations effectively
- Understanding of behavioral health
