Job Summary:

- The CTE Data and Reporting Analyst creates and maintains CTE related reports and data sets, assists in the analysis and interpretation of CTE data, and assists with the creation and submission of federal and state compliance reporting.
- Occasional in-state is required for this position.

Job Duties:

- Gather data and prepare reports for program planning, system maintenance, and any other department needs as required
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of data tools, available to internal and external stakeholders, that assist in data-driven decision making
- Create or participate in the creation of regular and ad hoc reports, including annual federal and state-level compliance reports
- Evaluate CTE program processes, outcomes, and impact by conducting research and data analysis on CTE program implementation efforts and actual vs expected program results
- Evaluate and analyze grant recipient's programs and data to identify areas of non-compliance, low quality, or other areas for improvement, documents issues, and identifies evidence-based solutions

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge in:

- Design and execute SQL queries to retrieve data and generate reports
- Technical writing, including documentation and presentations
- Relational database, such as SQL Server
- Statistical analysis

Skills in:

- Problem solving
- Logical thinking
- Spreadsheet software, such as MS Excel
- Microsoft Office products, including MS Word and PowerPoint

Ability to:

- Communicates technical material to non-technical audiences
- Prioritizes conflicting demands on time and resources
- Establish and maintain working relationships
- Conduct research and investigate issues to determine the root cause
- Find, collect, organize, and interpret various types of data
