**Responsibilities**:

- This position is responsible for management of programming, curriculum, student staff selection/training, and assessment activities for general interest Engage 100 academic engagement programs. Teaches peer leaders training courses. Plans and executes retention-focused student success initiatives.
- Manages programming and operational activities for First Year Connections & Success, a general-interest first-year undergraduate student success course, as part of the Engage 100 programming team. Plans and executes workshops, seminars, and campus partner outreach that support leadership development within Engage 100 Leaders. Provides strategic leadership in the areas of program development, course building, and curriculum management.
- Teaches undergraduate courses for peer mentor training and facilitates on-going staff development workshops. Assists in the recruitment, hiring, training, and course observations for course-based peer leaders. Supervises graduate interns and student staff as assigned to support programming efforts under their management.
- Assists with data collection and analysis to assess student participation in Engage 100 and other academic engagement programs housed in the Office of Retention. Conducts research and coordinates presentations.
- Provides support with course registration initiatives, special projects, research, and other assignments to support departmental and divisional goals.
- Develops and maintains partnerships throughout the University to attend departmental goals and objectives. Serves as a liaison between the Office of Retention and the FSU community. Serves as an Undergraduate Studies representative on student success work groups and committees.

**Qualifications**:
A Master's degree and two years of experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, college student personnel, or other education fields.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and partnerships.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
- Ability to utilize problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of academic resources available to students.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of academic program planning, development, and evaluation.

**Anticipated Salary Range**:
Starting at high $40,000s
- low $50,000s, commensurate with education and experience.
