Maintenance / Groundskeeping

**Placerville RV Resort & Campground is seeking to hire staff available to work 40 hours per week. Our campground is located in Shingle Springs, CA. Our park has won highly coveted Awards for the last 7 years due to our strong dedication to guest service.**

**We are keenly interested in team members with a positive attitude and willingness to exceed guest expectations helping our park to maintain the highest rankings.**

We are looking for a person to fill the maintenance position. Job duties are listed below. You must be a positive representative of our park. Be friendly. Must be able to work well unsupervised, communicate effectively with campers and owners, and be dependable. WORKING THURSDAY-SUNDAYS AND ON ALL MAJOR CAMPING WEEKENDS (especially Memorial, 4th July, Labor Day) AND ALL CAMPING SEASON HOLIDAYS ARE A MUST IF REQUESTING FULL TIME. Christmas and Thanksgiving are off as our management work those shifts.

The primary focus of this job is to perform maintenance tasks. You must be able to keep yourself busy doing the other maintenance tasks and custodial duties mentioned below.

**Job duties include**:

- Guest Service
- Mowing & Weed-eating
- Painting
- Garbage Duties
- Raking, Weedpulling, and other dirt work.
- Building, Sanding, & Cutting (picnic table projects etc)

**Minor Electrical Work (we can teach if needed)**
- Grounds Keeping
- General Repairs
- Tree Trimming
- Landscaping
- Pool Maintenance
- Pool Equipment Repairs
- New Projects
- Emergency Repairs
- Lifting
- Weed Pulling
- Ditch Digging
- Using a Blower
- Firepit Delivery
- Cable TV Repair
- "Making it GREAT"

Must be able to walk a lot, hear well, lift, use ladders, work in the rain during storms, and work in the heat during the summer.

Passing any requested drug tests and background check is required. This is considered an at will employment opportunity so minor changes in your job description should be expected from time to time.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
