Position Title: Program Supervisor

FLSA Status: Full-time, exempt

Reports to: Director of Behavior Services, Associate Director

Compensation: $67,000- $70,000 annually

**Position Summary**

At Summa Academy, the Program Supervisor supports our Non-Public School (NPS) team by coaching and supporting the Leads, Behavior Specialists, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT), and Behavior Technicians (BT) as well as overall support for daily site operations. Additional responsibilities may include implementing student’s Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to include academic and behavioral goals and objectives. Program Supervisors attend to the instructional, behavioral, physical, and health needs of students; monitor and report student progress regarding performance regarding each student’s program.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Behavior Analytic Assessment/Treatment Plan Support
- Assist Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) with conducting skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments with students
- Assist Teachers to conduct educational assessments
- Assist BCBAs with RBT renewal assessments with staff
- Assist with development of individual treatment plans (Building plans, BIP revisions, etc.)
- Conduct, review and implement student trial day procedures

School Support
- Attend classroom debriefs and record notes during consult meetings as required
- Overlap in classrooms throughout the day as needed to build rapport with students and support monitoring student safety on school grounds; gym, doors, fire alarms, hallways, bathrooms, etc.
- Responsible for providing behavior management support to students working with providers as needed or as assigned (SLP/APE/OT/AAC/Counselors).
- When assigned as direct classroom support, follow the classroom schedule and teacher/staff directions when subbing and implementing individual and group academics and behavior support
- Support classroom enrichment" activities as requested or assigned
- Lead direct instruction, training, and classroom management as needed (in the event of teacher absences).
- Supports student crisis behavior throughout the day while maintaining student safety and communication
- Collaborates on completing student information forms and training staff on updated student support plans
- Supports with student transitions throughout the school day

Clinical Support
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of initial onboarding and weekly RBT trainings as directed including providing Safety Care training and coordinating renewals
- Responsible for assisting with initial and ongoing staff education on student behavior and skill acquisition and other Summa protocols
- Shadow and support newly hired RBTs on implementing behavior plans, skill acquisition goals and to demonstrate combined responsibilities with integrity and competence.
- Observe and record RBT data reliability as directed.
- Implement behavior skills training to assist classroom staff with behavior management and academic protocols (e.g., building plans, group work, transitions)
- Consistently provides constructive feedback to RBTs regarding behavior management and professional skill competency
- Monitor crisis responses including the utilization of Safety Care procedures

Administrative Support
- Program Supervisors are expected to arrive on time daily for their assigned schedules
- Attends all meetings as directed by the Administration team.
- Maintain and monitor Summa outlook calendar
- Assist with Incident Report Processing as directed
- Supports the development and implementation of school-wide events and Summa Academy committees
- Other duties as assigned

Other Expectations:

- Commitment to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIIPA/FERPA laws
- Follow all policies/procedures relative to implementing Specialized Academic Instruction
- Follow and uphold all Summa Academy policies and procedures as outlined in the handbook, policies and procedure documents and any additional communications with regards to policies and procedures
- Provide a learning environment that allows for individual differences and respect for the dignity and worth of each student
- Communicate appropriately and professionally with colleagues at all times

**Desired Education and Qualifications**
- Bachelors Degree Required
- Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or field related to Special Education, required or actively in progress
- Registered Behavioral Technician or eligible for certification.
- Required to maintain credentials while employed at Summa Academy.
- Substitute Teaching Permit eligible
