**AP Specialist**

**Responsibilities**
- Process high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
- Verify and reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
- Ensure approval and appropriate coding of invoices
- Prepare and process payments to vendors
- Monitor accounts payable aging and resolve any outstanding issues
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) is a plus
