The Paralegal will be part of the Legal Services Department at Atlas Healthcare Partners and will assist with performing and outsourcing all legal services pursuant to the management agreements with the Ambulatory Surgery Center entities that Atlas manages. The Paralegal will be responsible for gathering, preparing and summarizing relevant materials for use by the Director of Legal Services, and other outside legal counsel. The Paralegal will lead tactical legal initiatives, maintain contracts and files in the Company’s contract management system, perform legal research where relevant, and track projects. In addition, the Paralegal will be responsible for reviewing and drafting templated documents and contracts, participating in the development of policies and procedures for the Legal Department, assisting with transaction closings, maintaining corporate records, preparing data and reports for executive or board level meetings, assisting with ensuring Atlas compliance with applicable regulations and standards, along with other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Prepare and review confidentiality agreements with attorney supervision.
- Partner with attorney(s) on investigating and resolving various company matters.
- Review and maintain files on all Atlas and related entity contracts.
- Provide legal administrative support to the Director of Legal Services, and various departments within the Company.
- Participate in the definition and development of legal department policies, procedures, and programs, and provide continuing counsel and guidance on all legal matters.
- Interface with Atlas Team members in all Departments, as well as with outside counsel, vendors, and employees of Atlas’ partners, as required.
- Prepare templated documents in all areas of law involved in the business.
- Respond to requests for information, records, or other documents from within or outside of the organization.
- Conduct legal research and drafting as requested.
- Maintain and update legal calendar and related databases.
- Successfully complete special projects and other assignments as requested.
- Oversee, track, and prepare regulatory contracts required for ADHS Licensing surveys at newly acquired or developed Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
- Upload fully executed contracts to the contracts management system and maintain the system on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain Contract Status and Quick Glance spreadsheets concurrent with Contract Inbox and SmartSheet requests from Atlas Team Members.
- Perform Exclusions Testing on prospective vendors and assist with the maintenance of the Aegify Exclusions Testing software.
- Works independently and collaboratively with members of the Atlas Team and all those associated with related or Atlas
- managed entities.
- Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
- Provides all customers with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Requires an Associates degree in paralegal studies or combination of equivalent experience and education.
- Requires a level of knowledge and ability normally demonstrated by at least five years’ experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Requires excellent communication and organization skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal Certification are preferred.
