**PRIMARY PURPOSE**
As a Sanitation Associate, it will be your job to maintain all sanitation standards established by the Distribution Center in order to ensure a clean and safe work environment for all associates.
- **What you will be doing**:_

**Pick up debris, empty trash cans, remove spills in a prompt manner, dust racks, doors, lights, etc.**
Sweep and mop slots.
**Clean sanitation equipment, including sanitation boxes and mops.**
Sweep and scrub floors, as well as outside areas to help ensure the safety, proper sanitation and efficiency of the distribution center.
**Maintain equipment daily, topping off fluids, cleaning out brushes and washing equipment.**
Follow good sanitation practices; keep work area clean and free of debris.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Able to reach, stoop, bend and lift up to 60 lbs. of equipment.**
Able to stand for long periods of time.
**Able to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (i.e., cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks).**
Able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties.

**PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS**
Must be able to read and communicate in English, high school level.
Certification on powered industrial equipment where applicable (will train associates).

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
