Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Restaurant AGM specializing and focus as an internal Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. As an AGM you will honor the role of strongly supporting the restaurant General Manager while also guaranteeing consistency between events and day to day operations.

**Duties**:

- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering arrangements, audiovisual setup, and event logistics
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event goals and requirements
- Develop event timelines and budgets
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and products
- Manage guest lists, RSVPs, and event registrations
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements are in place
- Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operations
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in event planning and coordination
- Strong knowledge of event management principles and practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in upselling strategies to maximize revenue opportunities
- Familiarity with catering services, guest services, fundraising events, and contract negotiations
- Knowledge of hotel industry trends and market dynamics
- Experience in banquet operations is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and team members
