Looking for a full-time (on track and course approved for Completion of master's degree) on: Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Clinical Counselor, or Clinical Social Worker to work with children and families in a county district school setting.

The therapist is primarily responsible for helping students succeed socially, emotionally, and academically through individual, family, and group counseling, and by collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a safe, healthy and supportive environment at school and at home.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Provide individual, group and family counseling sessions to help resolve interpersonal and/or family problems that negatively impact a student's functioning.
- Crisis intervention and consultation as needed.
- Conducts assessments to determine a student's need for mental health services.
- Maintain proper documentation which includes, assessments, progress notes, collateral notes, chart notes, etc.
- Attends and participates in school-based meetings that benefit a student's mental health growth. Attend other team meetings when necessary to address specific student and parent needs and concerns.
- Provide guidance, consultation, and strategies to assist teachers in the development of classroom interventions to support a student's mental health needs.

**Requirements**:

- **Must be enrolled in a Masters in Psychology or related field or Must be completing traineeship.**:

- Bilingual Spanish/English desired.
- Clinical supervision and group supervision provided.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
