As Gannett Fleming continues to expand our client and project portfolio in the West Region, we are excited to identify an experienced **Construction Inspector **to inspect medium to large scale Water / Wastewater related projects throughout Southern CA. **Need a background in Electrical and SCADA**

**Responsibilities**:

- Serves as a construction inspector on water / wasterwater projects under the general supervision of the resident engineer.
- Tracks and inspects daily activities of the contractor, measuring completed items of work and recording them for payment.
- Determines when the project materials and procedures are not in compliance with project plans or specifications. Submits daily diaries or inspection logs, detailing all daily activities, labor, and equipment.
- Inspects traffic control and other worksite items for safety and compliance to standards.
- Coordinates with the contractor and general public, as necessary, to facilitate construction operations.
- Electrical power distribution for plant upgrades and associated instrumentation/control/SCADA related upgrades

**Minimum Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience inspecting water, wasterwater, treatment, pipeline, pump stations, and reservoirs.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates Degree in construction or technically related field preferred
- Valid Driver’s license required
- Experience with **water and wastewater treatment plant** rehabilitation projects is required
- Prior experience working on SCADA Projects a PLUS
- Minimum 5-10 years experience in Field inspection required
- Must possess OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification or the ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
