Construction Superintendent

We are a small construction company based in Riverside, California. We are looking for an EXPERIENCED Working Construction Superintendent. This is a great opportunity to grow with our firm. Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge and experience in construction - residential a must and commercial experience a plus. Our firm has a B (General Contractor's) license and works on all kinds of jobs including Insurance Restoration, both residential and commercial properties.

Part of your daily responsibility will be scheduling the subcontractors on multiple job sites, tracking of progress, job costs and preparation of paperwork for contracts, change orders, purchase orders and progress billings to homeowner and billings to insurance companies.

Pay is DOE - it starts at $25 per hour and goes up from there depending upon your skill set and is negotiable.

-10 years minimum experience -- please include the trades you're proficient at and feel comfortable managing others on

-Work throughout the Inland Empire, Local Mountain Areas, High Desert, Low Deserts, Orange and Los Angeles County.

-Must have experience having managed crews before -- you will be responsible for up to 3-5 trades at a time

-Speak with suppliers to source materials and track job expenses

-Read plans and interact with architects and inspectors as needed

-Track daily change orders

-Deal with City inspectors and pulling permits as needed.

-Dress professionally

-Communicate professionally

-Take direct instructions and follow through

-Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a very busy work environment

-Must be good with clients.

-Computer proficient in Xactimate or other Estimating software a +

-Must have current Driver's License and a copy of your driving record is required

-Must be able to pass a background check

-Normal Day starts at 7:30 and ends at 4:00.
