**What is the Prepress Specialist responsible for at Confluence Graphics?**
- Printing file changes and completing the set up for print
- Ensuring that graphic designs and content supplied for print production meets all necessary quality and technical standards before sending them to be printed
- Conducting pre-flight and advanced troubleshooting of design files for fonts, images, color and printability. Ensuring all files meet requirements for the intended print and finishing.
- Correcting any artwork issues or communicating changes to Production Manager
- Releasing print ready files to correct printers within deadlines

**What experience does a successful Prepress Specialist have?**
- File preparation experience for both Offset and Digital Presses
- A strong working knowledge of imposition requirements and software
- Excellent typographic skills and verbal presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed
- Experience excelling within fast-paced, high-energy environments

**Details of Note**:
The **Prepress Specialist **is a part-time position, approximately 10-20 hours per week, based at the **Confluence Graphics** office in Milwaukee, WI. This position reports to the Production Manager.

We offer PTO and holiday pay after 90 days. We are f-bomb friendly. :) We do company lunches and quarterly outings.
