**Essential Functions**:
Grant Writing, Acquisition and Monitoring ? Problem-Solving Courts Coordinator is responsible for researching, writing, and monitoring funding opportunities which benefit the program; to include internal and external grant opportunities. Coordinator is responsible for the administrative and record keeping of all OPSC grant awards. Prepare grant proposal annually.

Facilitate weekly or bi-weekly meetings of the Problem-Solving Court team; prepare/print court reports for court hearings; participate in court proceedings and document activities for the Problem-Solving Court files as necessary; schedule dockets for PSC program as needed.

The Coordinator is responsible for accurate and timely submission of quarterly financial and statistical reports to District Court Finance and OPSC and any grant making agencies for which the program is a recipient; for establishing sustainable relationships with community agencies, citizens and groups on behalf of the program. This includes public relations, funding and service sources.

The Coordinator is responsible for case management, reviewing case documents, preparing individual service plans for participants.

**Education**:
Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university.

**Experience**:
Five (5) years of experience in the field of healthcare, criminal justice, counseling, corrections, or law enforcement and three (3) years of managerial/supervisory experience.

**Knowledge of**:
Accounting principles related to budgeting and management of program funds.

General provisions affiliated with substance abuse and mental health services, corrections/community supervision requirements.

**Skill in**:
Interpersonal communication and relations.

Problem solving, prioritizing, scheduling, and decision making.

**Ability to**:
Communicate effectively, follow directions, facilitate meetings, five presentations.

Create and maintain critical relationships with organizations and work to enhance the PSC team, business, and community partners to accomplish the program goals.

Assimilate within the court process; adhere to established protocols, manage deadlines, provide a high level of customer service, and disseminate information accurately and appropriately to participants and the public.

Exercise a high degree of confidentiality, judgement, tact, diplomacy, and competence in dealing with Judges, attorneys, court personnel, service providers, the public and participants.

Take directives, work independently, write, research, and monitor internal and external grants; to develop, create and sustain community partners to promote the program and its purpose in the community and for the court.

Learn and oversee data input into assigned Management information systems within the PSC and external granting agencies.

Multi-task and manage flow in program activity.

Think critically about the population and utilize program data and research to address service trends as well as participant and program needs appropriately.

Complete legal and field research and maintain an updated understanding of the field of Problem-Solving Courts.
