We are seeking a talented technical writer with 6+ years of experience with creating ATO documentation for the RMF packages and training materials. This is to support the new tools implemented for Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) project. Tools associated with the project are Microsoft Entra, Ping Identity, SailPoint, CyberArk. This role can be primarily remote with ability to travel to Alexandria, VA on 1 or 2 days a week or remote basis based on the client requirements.
- Serve as a key member of the ICAM Project implementation team
- Partner with internal and external teams to expand our managed services and customer implementations
- Participate in business process evaluation/improvement activities and requirements gathering and collect information to develop any artifacts required for supporting the ATO RMF packages along with the compiling the training materials for technical and end user training
- This is a “hands-on” position that requires someone who is capable of multi-tasking. It requires an individual with a service-oriented mentality that can focus and take ownership of assignments/issues and manage/resolve those issues.
- Work well in a team-oriented environment and be able to self-manage tasks to ensure success.
- Excellent ability to communicate up and down within the organization; prepare detailed descriptions of issues, status updates, recommendations, and reports. Applicants must be organized with an eye for detail.

**Required Skills**:

- 6+ years of experience providing information assurance, engineering, or operational support, including experience with DISA STIGs and STIG Viewer experience
- Hands-on experience to validate control implementations and test procedures
- Serve as a tech writer to support RMF process and develop training materials for end and technical users
- Be a liaison with ISSO and validators to bring platform information technology systems through the full life cycle of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to achieve/renew Authority to Operate (ATO) per NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, etc. standards
- Author and maintain the System Security Plan (SSP), Security Controls and plan of action and milestones (POA&Ms) associated with the new tools in the system boundary
- Support cyber policy implementation, artifact development, and requirements updates
- Perform verification and validation of delivered systems; develop test plans and procedures
- Assist with the assessment of Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans & Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Must be US Citizen with minimum DoD Secret clearance is required prior to start date
- Education: BS/BA (CS/IT) or STEM equivalent
- Able to meet DoD 8570 IAT II Certification requirements

Pay: $140,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
