**Purpose**: The purpose of a school social worker in Elmhurst CUSD 205 is to positively impact the
- achievement of all students by addressing the developmental needs of students through the
- delivery of a comprehensive school social work program that addresses the academic and social-emotional development of all students.Social workers collaboratively work with students, administrators, teachers, parents, and the community to promote student success and respond to identified student needs.
This position starts for the 2024-2025 school year.
- IL Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Social Work is required and registered in DuPage County.
