**Responsibilities**:
1. **Lock Desk Management**:

- Coordinate with loan officers, processors, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely lock confirmations.
- Implement and enforce lock policies and procedures to mitigate risk and optimize profitability.
- Stay informed about market conditions and industry trends to provide recommendations for lock strategies.

2. **Underwriting Submission**:

- Prepare and submit mortgage loan files to the underwriting department in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Review loan documentation for completeness and accuracy before submission to underwriting.
- Communicate effectively with underwriters to address any questions or additional information required for loan approval.
- Collaborate with loan officers and processors to resolve issues and expedite the underwriting process.

3. **Communication and Collaboration**:

- Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal teams, including loan officers, processors, and underwriters.
- Provide timely updates on the status of locked loans and underwriting submissions to relevant stakeholders.
