**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and provide timely monthly financial statements including status and progress
- Manage month-end and year-end close process
- Continuously improve operational excellence, analyze business processes, identify opportunities, and drive projects to further improve people, processes and systems, eliminating waste, and improve standardization
- Manage all accounting operations including A/P, A/R, GL, Inventory Accounting and Reporting
- Perform cash management function along with preparation of the statement of cashflow
- Preparation of consolidation and financial statements, including brand & department P&Ls, as well as actual to budget analysis and corrections on a timely basis.
- Management and review of all intercompany transactions.
- Coach, develop and mentor accounting team
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Guide accounting decisions by maintaining business processes and accounting policies always looking for improvements
- Prepare, manage and oversee preparation of budgeting process as well as quarterly re-forecast.
- Preparation, analysis and presentation of monthly actual to budget reports.
- Prepare and/or review & present cash forecast including payment timing and funding on a weekly basis.
- Oversee the daily/weekly/annual processing of journal entries, calculation of transactions, and analysis of trial balance.
- Oversee overall weekly funding, 1099 preparation, approval of new vendor terms, manage and oversee procedural and transactional daily and weekly activities.
- Compliance: Preparation of income tax returns, sales tax returns and property tax returns.
- Negotiate lines of credit and vendor agreements an all financial contracts
- Inventory Control - Review and be responsible for appropriate approvals for liquidations, write offs, items that are out of the ordinary, approve inventory reserve analysis. Oversee inventory observation, gross margin analysis and monthly transactions.
- Annual Audit - review, approve, manage and prepare schedules provided to the auditors. Prepare consolidated annual report, financial statements, cash flow and retained earnings and notes to the financial statements.
- Keep up-to-date on the financial market to understand how to maximize profits and find new areas of opportunity
- Oversee and manage customer terms and discounts, payment arrangements, transactional and daily activities.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
