Medical Physicist

**Sentara is hiring a Medical Physicist for Sentara's Brock Cancer Center, in Norfolk, Virginia.**

**Shift**:Full Time Position

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Master's Degree in Medical Physicists REQUIRED
- ABR/ABMP/CCPM Board Certification or Eligibility REQUIRED.
- PhD in Medical Physics preferred
- Medical Physics Residents who are expecting to graduate this year are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in Stereotactic Radiotherapy and Radiosurgery, High Dose Rate Brachytherapy and Radiopharmaceutical procedures preferred.

Provide technical assistance in the development of treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy; monitor patients; maintain established policies, procedures, objectives, quality measurement, and safety; perform clinical research as required.
