We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Planner, marketer, promoter to partner with us and to help us to grow our event and workshop clientele and to host and promote events.

**About Us**:
The Hub, Center for Health and Beauty is a female, veteran owned and operated business. We are a holistic healthcare center. We have 2 locations, our Melbourne Location is located in West Melbourne, near downtown. Our other location is located in Indialantic Florida, 5 minutes from the beach.

Our health and beauty clinic focuses on providing exceptional care and personalized treatments for pain relief and pain management, acupuncture, injection AIT therapy, massage therapy and esthetics services, yoga, meditation and other workshops and classes.

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as an Event Planner, Marketer, and Promoter on a contract basis.

Ideally, we would want this position to evolve into a permanent part time or full time position within our organization. We are a small organization that works closely with one another and are planning for this position to evolve into a long term position.

This position requires that the person be responsible for proposing, organizing, and executing events such as classes, workshops, and other special events related to our practice and the field of holistic wellness. This position would require travel between both locations and within the surrounding area to network with local business owners.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events such as**:weddings, corporate meetings, fundraisers, and social gatherings, workshops, classes, seminars, and special events such as art workshops and healthy lifestyle events by identifying and executing requirements, developing assignments and schedules, and coordinating with current and prospective contacts.

**Recruit and book parties within our facility**:

- Work with our team to create campaigns to obtain sales and book parties: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events and services to our target audience, including online and offline marketing channels.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences
- Select and book venues, caterers, entertainment, and other vendors
- Manage event budgets and ensure all expenses stay within the allocated budget
- Oversee event setup, including decorations, seating arrangements, and audiovisual equipment
- Handle event logistics on the day of the event to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent guest services and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Collaborate with internal team members and external partners to ensure successful event execution and promotion.
- Utilize social media platforms and online advertising to reach and engage with potential attendees.
- Monitor and analyze the success of marketing campaigns and events, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and influencers to enhance event promotion and attendance.
- Network locally and build relationships with surrounding businesses

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in event planning or a related field
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to liaise effectively with team members, clients and vendors, and external partners.
- Proficiency in time management to meet deadlines and deliver successful events
- Knowledge of fundraising strategies for charity events is a plus
- Familiarity with venues, hotels, restaurants, and hospitality services
- Ability to upsell services and packages to enhance client experiences
- Ability to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.

**Preferred Skills**
- Knowledge and interest in acupuncture, massage and esthetics services.
- Canva experience
- Adobe Creative Cloud experience
- Background in Marketing, Communication, or other related disciplines.
- Background in developing social media program initiatives to improve community size and engagement
- Video and/or photography production skills
- Experience in online sales funnels
- Public Speaking, and Public Relations background

**Job Type**: Contract
