**Residential Roofing Experience Is Required**

Overview:
The Residential Roof Inspector is responsible for assessing the condition, quality, and safety of roofing projects in a residential setting. Utilizing expertise in roofing materials, construction methods, and safety standards, the Roof Inspector conducts pre and post installation inspections. The role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to upholding industry standards and regulations, and excellent customer service skills.

**Duties**:

- Conduct comprehensive pre and post installation inspections of roofing installation, systems needs and quality of work.
- Identify and document defects, damage, and areas of concern using appropriate inspection techniques and tools.
- Evaluate roofing materials, installation methods, and workmanship to ensure compliance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection data, photos, measurements, and other relevant information for reference and reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards applicable to roofing installations and repairs.
- Promote safety awareness and best practices among contractors, workers, and property owners to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Interact professionally and courteously with clients, property owners, contractors, and other stakeholders during on-site inspections and interactions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of improved inspection procedures, tools, and resources to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Inspect all roof and siding Installs and fill out 40 point list /document with pictures

Pay: $20-$25/hr based on experience

**Requirements**:
Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in construction, roofing, or related fields preferred.
- ** Proven experience in roof inspection, construction inspection, or related roles within the building or property inspection industry.**:

- ** Knowledge of roofing materials, construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations applicable to residential, commercial, and industrial properties.**:

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to accurately assess roofing conditions and identify defects or deficiencies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts and inspection findings to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools, equipment, and technology, including measuring devices, drones, digital cameras, and inspection software.
- Valid driver's license for travel to inspection sites as required.
