**Intake Coordinator (Part-Time)**

The Family & Educational Wellness (FEW) Center in Franklin, Massachusetts, is looking for an intake coordinator to join our team in supporting the well-being of children, adolescents, and families through counseling, evaluations, and consultation.

**Position Summary**

The intake coordinator is primarily responsible for onboarding new clients for counseling services - from initial inquiries to intake appointments with therapists. This position works closely with and under the direction of the Practice Manager.
- Maintain an active, functional, up-to-date waiting list for therapy services
- Screen new clients to determine if the FEW Center can meet their needs and ensure a good client-therapist “fit”
- Manage the onboarding of new clients including, but not limited to 1) working collaboratively with the counseling team to confirm available timeslots; 2) securing insurance verification from our offsite biller, 3) communicating with clients regarding their out-of-pocket costs for therapy services, and 4) sending/tracking intake forms
- Perform other office duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the office

**Qualifications**
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- One year of general office and support role experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Discreet with sensitive and highly confidential information
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Self-starter with the ability to respond to and follow through with requests professionally and promptly
- A “customer service” mindset
- Willingness to learn the nuances of behavioral health

**Position Details**
- $20.00 to $22.00/hr.
- 10 hours weekly -- 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
