We Also Value- We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and efficient Heavy Equipment Operator. In this position, you will be responsible for operating: Motor Grader; Backhoe; Frontend Loader; and other various types of equipment
Job Contributions- Operate a variety of medium to large-sized construction and maintenance equipment/vehicles in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures- Build up and repair dirt roads and shoulders and plating- Performs heavy manual labor assignments as needed and assists crews as required- Performs pre/post-trip cleans, services, and minor maintenance repairs on equipment/vehicles- Identify and report mechanical problems requiring additional repair- Complete daily job logs and prepare reports; enter information in the asset management system (Cartegraph). Attend safety meetings and other required meetings and mandatory training- Haul materials and transport vehicles and equipment to job sites using various trucks and transporters- Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions- Exerting up to 10 pounds occasionally or negligible weights frequently; sitting most of the time- Exerting up to 20 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds frequently, or negligible amounts constantly OR requires walking or standing to a significant degree- Exerting 20 - 25 pounds occasionally, 10 - 25 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly
CDL Selection Procedure
Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software, and Hardware- Motor Grader, Backhoe, Frontend Loader, and other various types of equipment
Protective Equipment Required- All required PPE will be provided upon hiring
Selection ProcedureMust pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive
