**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our client team. As the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization. This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information.

**Duties**:

- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the organization's financial stability and growth
- Manage the budgeting process and provide regular financial reports to senior management
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions
- Lead a team of finance professionals and provide guidance and mentorship

**Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- Proven experience as a Director of Finance or similar role in a complex organization
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
- Proficiency in using financial software systems such as Ellucian or PeopleSoft
- Experience in education administration or financial services is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis and develop strategic recommendations
- Experience with loan processing and managing debt portfolios is a plus
- Excellent mathematical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
