Rn Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff in a healthcare setting
- Oversee the delivery of patient care and ensure adherence to established protocols and standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient needs and address any concerns or issues
- Assist with complex medical procedures such as cardiac catheterization, spinal taps, and acute pain management
- Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Cerner for documentation and communication purposes
- Coordinate discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions for patients leaving the facility
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license and current CPR certification
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in areas such as wound care, medication administration, and patient assessment
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and resources available for patients post-discharge
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including children and adults
- Knowledge of triage protocols and ability to make quick decisions in emergency situations
