**Position Summary**:
Department Leaders will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that production runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently. They will have strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to lead a team.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain a self-sufficient team built on trust, empowerment, and a win-win approach to business.
- Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including but not limited to planning, scheduling, engineering, human resources, and automation.
- Ensure that production is running smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
- Lead a team, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to build skills and overcome obstacles.
- Manage the department budget and ensure that expenses are kept within budget.
- Work with all other departments to ensure that production meets quality standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, quality, and other relevant data.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and ensure that all employees are following safety guidelines.
- Identify and troubleshoot production problems and develop solutions to address them.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and quality control.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
- Willingness to teach, grow, and learn.
