Program Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
The Program Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Leadership team in program development, implementation, and day-to-day operation, including therapeutic interventions and educational services to students and their families. The Program Supervisor works to develop and maintain close collaboration with families, staff, public school districts, and other community-based organizations.
**Core Job Duties**:
- IEP Facilitation Support and Supervision_
- Schedule and facilitate school-wide IEP meetings/parent conferences; oversee
the development of appropriate goals and data management
- State Testing Mandate Support and Implementation _
- Coordinates and administers statewide testing for all students
- Training, Support, Supervision, and Evaluation of Paraprofessionals _
- Coordinates and supports teachers in initial performance reviews of paraprofessionals
- Provide training and supervision to all staff
- Assist with the development and training of staff on curriculum and instructional practices to support students' learning
- Meet regularly with teachers and paraprofessionals to design student-centered instructional practices and offer support with additional classroom needs.
- Schoolwide Event coordination:_
- Schedule and Coordinate school-wide events (e.g., teacher appreciation week, mini camps, after-school programs).
- Assist the senior leadership team in planning and leading staff development activities.
- Prospective Student Intake Process:_
- Reviews and summarizes prospective student information
- Provide information to prospective parents and districts about the school program
**School Operations**:
- Assist in facilitating daily staffing and logistics; respond to dynamic and/or emergent needs; allocate staff resources in line with student needs on a daily basis.
- Work with the leadership team to maintain a safe and orderly school environment for students and staff.
- Provide leadership by setting high expectations and holding the school team accountable for student progress in all areas; sustain a high standard of professional behavior at all times.
- Provide initial and ongoing training in collaboration with the leadership team; ensure accurate and timely completion of paraprofessional evaluations.
- Assist leadership in facilities management.
- In collaboration with the leadership team, engage families in the educational process by facilitating frequent opportunities for parents and teachers to discuss student growth and needs.
**Additional Job Duties**:
- Ability to work under pressure and effectively respond to multiple competing priorities
- Work effectively as a member of a transdisciplinary team to plan, manage, and supervise the school’s operations and educational program.
- Work within cost-effective procurement and maintenance of school equipment.
- Support in providing training, coaching, and effective practices to all staff.
- Perform all other duties as necessary for the good of the school as directed by supervisors.
**Job Qualifications**:
- 3+ years experience in special education, teaching, or providing specialized services, including demonstrated ability to support all students in learning
- Credential or License Authorizing specialized instruction
- Administrative Credential preferred
- Demonstration of team building and problem-solving skills with various team members
- Demonstration of effective written and oral communication
- Flexible and collaborative work ethic
- Willing to use physical management training (i.e. CPI) to support students as needed.
- Effective use of cloud-based data management systems (i.e., Google Drive, calendar, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Clearance of TB test, Live Scan fingerprint
**Additional Information**:
Experience with young children on the autistic spectrum or other special needs is helpful but not required. We are seeking an educator interested in growing and learning with our school. The position will report to the Assistant Director. This is a unique opportunity for a person interested in moving into an administrative or leadership role who wants to work directly with children and a small, cohesive leadership team. Training will be provided in all areas of job responsibilities. The position is 8 hours a day, 200 days a year, and the salary is competitive.
