**Omni-Serv** is in search of a **Full-Time** Security Guard to surveil our location in the Newark, NJ area. We are looking for a professional security guard to monitor the comings and goings of the location. This position has a high customer service interface and requires professionalism.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interacting with customers, visitors, and employees daily
- Verify the identity of individuals seeking entry to ensure they have proper authorization and or credentials
- Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries
- Monitor and control access to designated areas from the guard booth
- Write incident reports on a needed basis
- Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Remain vigilant, alert and observant throughout the assigned schedule

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Remain vigilant, alert and observant throughout the entirety of your shift
- Valid **SORA** license
- One-year Security Guard experience
- Possess the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written

**Compensation**:$16.00 per hour**

**Schedule: Friday & Saturday: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Sunday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, & Monday 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
