Primary duties of this position will include but not be limited to period and quarter close responsibilities, customer account reconciliations, ad hoc reporting, and ad hoc projects. Position Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned: - Work with key decision makers in functional areas to assist in the development of their strategic plans, operating plans and performance measurement processes - Support finance development efforts including development of appropriate financial/billing policies, models, training programs, controls, etc. - Monthly close of the billing software - Zuora. - Identifies accounts that have negative balances and research and correct customer accounts. - Help with tickets related to Up and Down and Parent/Child customer invoices, payments and customer accounts in general from Account Executives and or Collections and resolve any billing related issues. - Monitor billing workflows in Zuora on a daily basis and ensure that any errors are caught and rectified in a timely basis. - Serve as a resource to staff by answering questions, assisting with problems, and providing training as necessary. - Proactively reviewing processes to identify inefficiencies, control weaknesses and identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness. This will require quantitative analysis to support any recommendations. - Provide operational expertise to business development and engineering teams for process implementations of new partners and customers. - Lead cause of change analysis. - Monitor daily the parent/child accounts processed to ensure Billing is set up correctly. - Lead special projects as identified. Position Requirements: - A Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting with two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in billing; or, a combination of education and experience. - Proficiency with Microsoft suite (Excel) and solid understanding of analysis and reporting concepts and their application. - Reconciliations, journal entries, P&L variance analysis, SOX compliance and revenue recognition. Salary: $53,600 - $89,500Compensation Range (USD): MIN 53600.0 - MID 71500.0 - MAX 89500.0
